  1. Really enjoying Pak on this book, Looking forward to the tie-in issue (& story-arc)

  2. I’m going to check this out and see about getting this…I’m on the fence about dropping the book as I really didn’t enjoy the last arc with Hiro, just left a bad taste in my mouth.  However, Pelletier is back on this issue which is a huge plus, as he does some of my favorite Hulk art.  I’m actually way more into Parker and Hardman’s Hulk series right now, but it’s a totally different book.

  3. I love it when Hulk and Abomination get into it.  I guess Abomination was let out of hell during the Chaos War.  I’m very excited that Pelletier is back too.  The Dark Son arc wasn’t my favorite either.  But I guess they had to tie up the Hiro Kala loose end.  I’m reading the Chaos War, so I don’t mind this tie in.  But I really can’t wait for what comes after.

  4. This was really good.  Best issue since before Dark Son.  What Abomination did to A-Bomb was wrong.

  5. What exactly is the gripe you guys had with Dark Son? I just saw it as Pak tying up some loose ends & perhaps planting a seed or two for future arcs. I was a great rock ’em sock ’em book to boot. Incredible Hulks is continuing to be one the best team books at Marvel alongside Thunderbolts, Avengers Academy, Uncanny X-Force & finally Secret Avengers now that Brubaker has found his feet with the new arc. Anyway, I digress. #618 was indeed a great standalone tie-in to Van Lente’s Chaos event. Nice to see that Strange’s misdeeds during WWH are also being tied up within this storyline. Pagulayan’s cover was pretty badass. The Parker back-up was equal parts hilarious & well written. Another great issue!
