Zack Overkill has plunged into the super-criminal underworld on a deadly mission that’s made him question everything. Now he’s come face-to-face with his target, and things just got a hell of a lot worse.

And so with every issue, our Professor of Pulp Culture, Jess Nevins is back with another great essay on forgotten pulp history, available only in the single issues of INCOGNITO.

Users who pulled this comic:

  1. Zack always told Zoe to cut it out with the LED lasers, but this time she went too far.

  2. Oh, this is a mighty nice cover.

  3. Man I love comics with essays in the back. Just feel like I get my money’s worth.

  4. This series has completely lost me, how many more issues left before we get another volume of Criminal?

  5. @mikegraham6: totally agree

up the up side, they seem to be pump the issues out for this one

  6. I don’t think anything has been officially said, but I wouldn’t expect new Criminal until next fall. the implication when Bru dropping Secret Avengers was announced was that he has a new Marvel project coming up.

  7. I didn’t know JFK was a pulp anti-hero.

  8. but you didn’t know that JFK wasn’t either

  9. @conor  haha, nice!

Looks a little more like Ted.

  10. @edward You got me there.

  11. @conor  I see you dropped this. Is Criminal the only series from Brubaker left you’re enjoying? I’m certainly not hearing good things about Secret Avengers or Captain America.

  12. I’ve loved this series, I haven’t liked it as much as the first volume/mini but this has still be loads of fun.  Pulpy goodness.

  13. @Suicidalkangarooz  Criminal doesn’t exist at the moment so the only Brubaker series I’m enjoying is Secret Avengers.

  14. This was the best issue of the series. Just a lot of fun. It makes me remember that Brubaker can be a great writer when he has a story he actually wants to tell and Is not doing it just to pay the bills.

  15. Until brubaker leaves and nick Spencer takes over. When he takes the title over so long secret avengers for me

  16. Totally the best issue of this series yet.

  17. @Suicidalkangarooz  i agree best issue of the week
