I, VAMPIRE #8

As the Justice League Dark team faces the end of all magic – and perhaps life itself – only one man can challenge the dark force known as Cain: Andrew Bennett. He’s back from the dead, but whose side is he on?

Regardless of the answer, nothing will be the same for either series when “Rise of the Vampires” is over!

  1. One of my top five books….anyone else?

    • I still need to read last issue. I picked it up because of the crossover with JL Dark, it was my first issue. I will have to get back to you on it.

    • My gf was reading and collecting them and I didn’t care for it until the crossover so I checked it out, loved it so I ended up reading the whole run of 7 issues afterwards and it really is a great series. The pace in the story has been perfect making each issue better then the last, and the art is fantastic

    • Yes. This has been one of the biggest surprises for me from the new52. There were a few books I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be into when the titles were announced, and this was one of them. After I saw some of the preview art, I decided to at least try it out, and I’ve really enjoyed it so far. Great characters, and wonderfully gritty, expressive art.

    • I agree, especially because of the art, it’s fitting perfectly.

  2. Hmm well it’s definitely in my Top 10…and also one of the few titles in the New 52 that had never seen the chopping block for me. This cross over has been very enjoyable and seemed to bring a little humor with it which is awesome.

  3. One of my faves as well which is crazy for me because I’m a super hero guy.

  4. Overall I liked the I,Vampire halves of this crossover better. Sorrentino kicked ass again, and the story worked to change the direction of the series in interesting ways. It will be interesting to see how the new developments are balanced in the upcoming issues.

  5. Not sure if I’m going to keep picking this up after the crossover.
