Dropped the ongoing a while back, but enjoyed the special issue 13 anthology, so hoping this is in a similar vein.
I just jumped onto this the last 3 issues. I’m really enjoying the smaller stories inside of the story, but I haven’t figured out the big picture of the book yet. So, they are trapped in this haunted house and they tell stories? I guess I have to stop being so lazy and check out the ol’ wikipedia.
can i read this if i’m not reading the ongoing? i’m a sucker for halloween.

Can’t wait to get my hands on this and read the I,Zombie tale, and get a taste of the ongoing.
This seems like something you could pick up even if your not getting the actual title (Shame on you! :P). The framing story doesn’t sound like it matches whats going on in the main title, so everyone should be safe. I’m pretty stoked about this, especially for the I, Zombie short.
@Hailscott: The premise of the book is a handful of people are stuck in this house, unable to leave despite their best efforts. Since they have nothing better to do, and the kitchen/bar is always magically full they opened up a bar where people from many different dimensions/worlds/whathaveyou come for a drink or food and pay for them by telling stories to relieve the boredom. Fig, the newest housemember is trying to devise a way to escape, but is disturbed by the fact that the house resembles the one shes been dreaming about for years. Her father, who disappeared when she was younger is tied into the house of mystery.
@Nptmcrtp: Thanks! It makes more sense now. Even without getting the main idea from the issues I got, I found everything about the book to be enjoyable- it is very unlike anything else I am reading.
Can not wait to read the i,Zombie bit!
didnt really like this i hope this isnt a good example of tyhe rest of the book because i was really hoping to finnaly read and like this series
