HERC #7

You loved it when Herc dressed up as Thor, but can you handle the senses-shattering debut of… THE INCREDIBLE SPIDER-HERC?!?! And versus… THE X-MEN???

Though he is the newly self-appointed protector of Brooklyn, when a rash of unusual occurrences begin breaking out in Manhattan, Hercules finds himself “infested” with Spider-Powers of his own. Unfortunately, our web-slinging former demigod soon finds himself under the thrall of the insidious intelligence behind Spider Island and in a duel to the death against fellow champions The X-Men.

Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente join up with artist June Brigman to deliver a pulse-pounding, wall-crawling [!!!] adventure with Marvel’s lovable lug, HERC!

  1. Event tie-ins killed this series for me.

    • Yeah i think they killed the book completly, without them this could’ve gone for a while IMO.

    • The worst part is I loved this series until Fear Itself reared its head. I understand giving long-running series tie-ins but they didn’t even give this one time to grow and establish itself.

  2. Yeah i’m with you on that, this had a heap of potential but it never got a proper go at telling the story it wanted to before fear itself came along.

  3. I know this is an event tie-in but this one was fun I really really loved this issue and it’s a good thing I did because I’ve been waiting for it for months
