HELLBLAZER PANDEMONIUM

Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the first appearance of John Constantine, Jamie Delano – the very first HELLBLAZER writer – returns for a new original graphic novel! Joining him for the occasion is fan-favorite artist Jock (THE LOSERS), who – for the first time ever – uses the meticulous techniques he’s developed for his Eisner-nominated covers to illustrate a gripping horror story tailor-made for the 21st century.

When an alluring Muslim woman catches Constantine’s eye, she also brings trouble clattering to his doorstep: a bombing in a London museum, mysterious ancient Sumerian artifacts, an unearthly creature running rampant with renegade intentions… To protect his life and freedom, Constantine embarks on a desperate trail sprawling from the back streets of London to the detainment centers of contemporary Iraq – where the man who’s seen everything will see modern-day terror like he’s never imagined.

  1. I think this will be awesome!!!!!!!

  2. Oh it’s gonna be better than awesome!

  3. Surprised more people haven’t pulled this. Oh well, guess that means it will be easier to get!

  4. No. It just means there will be less books ordered:(

  5. I cannot wait to read this.  Just picked it up.

  6. I wish I could afford this. I’d buy it just for Jock’s art alone.

  7. I wonder how excited Josh is for this….

  8. I loved the shit out of this book.

  9. This was amazing.  I wasn’t a big fan of Delano’s original HB run, so I expected Jock’s work to be the best part of this book.  However, Delano did a fantastic job, and his poetic-esque prose wasn’t overbearing like it was back in his initial run.

  10. @sunnyvale You should go back and read the run again.  I liked it a lot more the 2nd time I read it.

  11. This book was fantastic, not finsihed this weeks books but cant see anything better than this for my pick of the week.

  12. im totally buing it when i go grab my stack from the sub box on Payday

  13. I’m in the middle of this and while I’m loving it, I do have two complaints/ questions. $25 for less than 130 pages? Seriously? I mean, it’s a dense read so it takes longer to read than most comics but still.

Also, maybe I’m missing something but since when has Constantine been able to psychically read people? I’ve read my fair share of Hellblazer and don’t remember this ever being the case. Anyone know what’s up with this?

  14. If anyone is interested in a free brand new copy, I have a free giveaway going on at http://www.darkeva.wordpress.com; submit your entry and see if you win 😉
