  1. Gemma should just hold out, because pretty soon, Superman or Green Lantern can swoop in and save the day. gggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (angry face).

  2. ggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr(similar angry face)

  3. I love this book!!! Characters rule! Story rules! This is good comic books!

  4. @HailScott: But this series isn’t being affected by Constantine’s arrival into the DCU, this series is separate. I don’t see whats wrong

  5. Milligan Rulesss!

  6. You know what rocks? This book now becomes DC’s highest numbered title in September. Ha!

  7. @Avistann  With the announcement of Northlanders ending, and with DMZ and (apparently) Scalped heading towards the finish line, and with DC proper getting some of the Vertigo names (including Milligan) into their main books, I wonder if Vertigo is going to exist for much longer. If that happens, will they keep a Constantine title that is out of the DCU? I really hope so, but who knows?

Completely unrelated to that, a friend of mine lent me a huge stack of old Hellblazer trades (including the “classic” Ellis books). I have to say, I’ve been enjoying the Milligan stuff more than ANY of the other 10 trades I’ve read.

  8. This need to have more readers and more pulls. My favourite comics for seven plus years

  9. Bearing in mind the number of great writers who have written Constantine over the years (Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Mike Carey, etc..) Peter Milligan is the first to ever make me give a toss about this character.

I hope this runs and runs.

Fab guest art on this issue too.

  10. The art itself was cool, but I think the style was a VERY BAD match for Hellblazer. It looked like a cartoon.
