HELLBLAZER #275

Many things have conspired to stop John Constantine from getting married, not least of which is John Constantine himself. But this time it’s different – this time it’s the young, beautiful alchemist Epiphany Greaves. Even as the church fills and the blushing bridegroom slips a carnation into his buttonhole, things can go horribly wrong. Uninvited guests from Heaven and Hell threaten to ruin the wedding of the year. In this issue, confetti and brimstone and the smell of blood fill the air for an extra-sized nuptials issue.

  1. Gotta say I am really looking forward to this issue. The last (I think) two years that have led up to this has been great and it’s cool to see that it has come down to this for Constantine. That and Milligan’s writing on this has been great.

  2. Is Milligan leaving after this?  I hope not.

  3. I really wish more people read this book. It’s still the first thing I read when it comes out and it never disappoints.

  4. @Thechangingman – I just started reading last year and am loving it so there’s hope.  Its readership is rock steady at between 9,000 and 10,000 issues a month which is pretty solid by Vertigo standards so its not going anywhere.

  5. i only read this in trades so i cant wait till this finally comes out. i really enjoyed milligan’s hellblazer.(while on the subject)oh my god can you imagine if alan moore wrote a new hellblazer story arch! man that would rule! im not holding my breath though.

  6. Is this a good “jumping on point”?

  7. @Bendrix  no. next issue. There’s A LOT Of canon in this ish.

  8. @brassai2003 Ordered it anyway. Ho wbad can it be?
