Loving this story. Highly underrated! I feel that way since I don’t see much press on it with reviews or other.
I, like many people, are leery of licensed titles because 9 times out of ten, they tend to be choppy, rushed products made for a quick buck.
Has this really been good or “good for a He-Man comic”?
I don’t think it has been that good, but it’s gotten better each issue. The art is a little spotty, but the book is moving in the right direction.
Good for a He-Man comic, and barely that. It is a disjointed offering because of the shakeup right out of the gate with issue number 1 and Robinson. I keep seeing people say “it is getting better” but it is a short mini, there isn’t room or time for that. It needed to be a well-conceived full story and art direction from the beginning and it wasn’t. It is OK as a fun read for fans, but it isn’t anything more than that and some of the art is just awful.
I’ve never watched He-Man and I love this comic. It’s fun and exciting and has great art.
I wish more people felt the way I did so we could have this be an ongoing.
Dat cover!!!!!11eleven
F’n Battlecat FTW!!!!
So was that Origin of Skeletor #1 issue a one-shot? I was under the impression it was going to be a mini-series.
One-shot.
