  1. The preview for this issue looks awesome, really liked what Pulido did but I just feel that Aja’s immense style just adds a whole level to Fractions quirkiness!

    • Aja’s layouts in this series have been some of the best I’ve seen in any comic all year. It brings such energy to the book.

    • Yeah I feel bad for Pulido because he does a good job but Aja really sets the tone for this book. It’s weird that it bugs me so much on Hawkeye but when Samnee took over on Daredevil it didn’t bother me at all.

  2. What the hells is going on? Why is Marvel trying so hard to make me like them better then DC?

But yeah, Marvel is a on a fucking roll right now and this Hawkeye comic is superb!

    • Even with all the double shipping I’m still loving Marvel way more than DC right now.

    • I have to agree – and I’m a DC guy through and through, but other than Batman, Wonder Woman, Animal Man, and Swamp Thing (and maybe Earth 2), there is really nothing to write home about. And with all the shake-up’s going on right now at DC (Gail Simome, Karen Berger) things aren’t looking to hot for the future. Maybe it’s time to re-boot again! 😉

    • Yeah I’m kind of the opposite, always been a Marvel man myself. But I was really digging DC’s stuff right after the New 52 began, I think I was reading 7 books right after the launch, now I’m down to just Batman. I was skeptical about Marvel NOW at first but I have to say I’m really digging a bunch of their books.

    • @USPUNX I was the same way. I’m a Marvel guy who was digging the New 52. Action, Detective, Batman and Robin were three of my favorites for about one arc. I was pulling 10 now down to 4 originals plus Earth 2 and Bat Inc from the second wave. Hopefully Marvel NOW!’s quality continues past the first arc.

  3. This is the best super hero book coming out right now I think

  4. I need to read my stack of these.

    Subscribed.

  5. Hot dog this is a good week for comic!
Hawkeye, Daredevil (digitally for me) and Saga.
Most weeks I think I’m not really an avid comics buyer, just picking whatever is cheap digitally then this week roles around.
Anyway, I skipped the last couple of issues of Hawkeye (when David Aja wasn’t on art) because I’m a poor student, I plan on picking them up digitally eventually, my questions is:
Is it really important that I read them before jumping back on this issue?

  6. Another totally awesome issue, this is proving to be an incredibly tough week on what will be my POTW. I thought Avengers would get it but it just didn’t have quite enough for me, Saga is great but isn’t it always, this was brilliant as well, but there is two others that I also really enjoyed Nowhere Men & JSA: Liberty Files: The Whistling Skull……hmmmmmm decisions, decisions…….?

  7. I LOVE THIS BOOK! NUFF SAID!! But no really DC new 52 has grown alittle stale to me jumped back over to marvel grabbed a few NOW books and am loving it. This book has me flipping every time it comes out i can’t wait for the next issue.

  8. FUTZ! This issue is awesome. 5/5 buy it bro.

  9. I am a huge fan of this series and this issue was pretty good but my god! Enough already with the bros! I was cringing through the whole Russian mafia section. Just stop!

  10. I swear Aja drew in one point perspective for the entire issue, did anyone else notice this?

  11. Oh this was futzing brilliant.

  12. This issue futzing brilliant, I come back next month bro.

  13. I’m hoping someone can explain the timeline of this issue. I tried to piece together the story from the dates given, but it seemed somewhat disjointed and I’m not exactly sure what we’re to assume happened with the full page spread of Clint aiming his bow at the van. Any thoughts?

    • My copy isn’t handy, so I can’t help with untangling the timeline, but that splash?

That’s clearly Hawkguy just before he destroys some Tracksuit Draculas, bro!

  14. Loved this issue! This one and issue #3 with the car chase are my 2 favorites so far. I’m always smiling after the first couple of pages reading this. Simply the best.
