  1. I was a big supporter of this series for the last 7 issues, but it doesn’t look like the creator is as commited as some of the others on the team and it’s hurting my enjoyment of the series.

This started as a fun book, but now I really feel like this needs to deliver something to keep my interest.

  2. Well the 1st paperback was excellent.  Can’t wait for the 2nd.

  3. ..you might have to 🙂

  4. I do love the cover though, on a positive note.

  5. I really enjoy reading Haunt, but lateness has hurt it a lot. They’re four issues behind now, but keep soliciting it monthly. The second trade is being solicited for October, and it’s supposed to collect issues 6-12. With number 8 due out this week (saw on Previews website that they’re saying next week now), there’s no way 12 issues will be out by October. At this rate we’ll be lucky to see number nine by then.

  6. Is Capullo doing anything else right now? Because when Ottley was doing pencils, he was also penciling Invincible, and he still kept this on time for 5 issues, but now that Capullo is penciling, the series has been very late. The only excuse is that he’s doing other stuff now too.

  7. I don’t think the problem’s with Capullo; he’s got covers done up to at least issue 12 (as seen in Image’s October solicits). At SDCC Kirkman noted that McFarlane likes to ink the book but "doesn’t always have time to ink". He’s also been the one to take the blame for the horrible lateness of Image Unted 3. I also have to wonder if Kirkman has too many irons in the fire now and isn’t getting scripts turned out in a timely manner. Notice that Walking Dead and Invincible have both caught the lateness bug lately, too.

  8. I am pretty sure that Todds inking is holding up the book and I think I read somewhere that they will get someone else to ink it at least till it caught up.

  9. The story is picking up traction.  The training montages were cool too.  I think (hope) there’s a huge payoff soon.

  10. I think the lateness is on Todd and Robert, but I still enjoyed the issue and I will wait patienly until #9
