I’m finding the writing pretty shallow and the art nice but not great. I am thrilled by the way this issue ends however as it gives you a prelude to the next series Halo: Fall of Reach – Covenant. As this series summerizes the novel Halo: Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund, the next series seems to be taking on Halo: Contact Harvest by Joseph Staten. It’s just fun seeing the Halo universe in comic form. Someone needs to add some more complexity to the writing and art though.
