GRIFTER #8

The Daemonites have taken everything from Cole Cash, and now the world’s greatest con artist will find himself the victim of an absolutely alien grift, forcing him to make a choice: die at their blue hands, or kill his own brother. 1. This was a fun issue.

I’m not sure whether it’s been explained why he needs to be viewed as a villain by the superheroes of the world. I was hoping for a little more on that.

But there are some interesting plot twists in this issue. I’ll definitely be back next issue. I’m not as worried as some about Liefield’s hand in upcoming issues. Especially if it’s mainly an influence on the plot rather than the art.

  2. I think I just dropped this.

  3. As long as Rob sticks to plots and stories I will be fine with that and no artwork. This title is underated and I can not understand how this character gets no love?? Anyway; I liked the return of his dead brother and his girlfriend being destroyed by these bastard aliens. They are out to break Grifter down and they are really cutting to his core now and they are in deep shit now and there will be no coming back for them. Great issue.
