  1. Remember when Image printed Chew #1 in an issue of Walking Dead? They should have done that with Green Wake. In fact, they should do that with all of their books at some point. I know it must cost them, but (in addition to it being a great book) that’s probably why it blew up.

  2. Man, it’s sad that this is the second last issue of the series. It had so much potential. It’s a great series and I can’t wait to see their next project.

    • I second that. This a great series and I’m looking forward to re-purchasing it in a hardcover format. I’m glad that Kurtis Wiebe will be releasing the secrets of Green Wake that didn’t have a chance to be revealed. I’m looking forward to Peter Panzerfaust and Debris.

    • Not to put the creative efforts of other books down, but I am in shock that something this good can fall by the wayside…I am totally getting Pater Panzerfaust and for good measure I am getting it traditional form and digitally…

    • @salt are you sure about the hardcover? I just bought the first trade today and would have rather gotten a hardcover…

  3. Someone at DC best be watching him and put him on one of the “Dark” books.

  4. Thanks for the support everyone, the indie comics scene is a tough market, even with a big publisher like Image behind your work.

I’ve been posting a bunch of Green Wake related material, lots of unseen content, on my blog and will continue to do so until the last issue in February. Feel free to stop by and comment!

  5. @Funcrusher – my comment about a hardcover is wishful thinking, but I really hope it happens one day. Also, how great is it that Kurtis sent us all a message on here? I’ve pre-ordered Peter Panzerfaust and I’m looking forward to Debris. Thanks again Kurtis!
