  1. When will this story be over!?

I just want to read stories about Rayner and his colorful friends, not an Emotion Vampire from the future-past.

    • All of the GL books have been too mired in crossover events to be really enjoyable since the reboot. I sincerely hope the new creative teams are able to refocus the books on their respective casts.

    • I agree these crossovers have gone on way too long, but I’m fearful of the new writers. I like Venditti a lot on Demon Knights, and I liked some of Soule’s first issues of Swamp Thing, but I didn’t like Justin Jordan on Team 7 at all and I don’t know anything about Van Jensen. I am actually kind of glad Fiaklov quit, what little I read from him did nothing for me.

But this massive never ending story has prevented these books from shining on their own. To me, Johns’ GL has been far and away the best of the four. I hope they all get a nice shot in the arm come issues 21.

    • new story starts in #21 and anyone who’s interested in Venditti should check out X-O Manowar which is great, really looking forward to him taking over the main GL book.

but this issue itself is really good as its focused all on kyle and sinestro, should be a grande finale 🙂

  2. I agree with everyone that this has been a very boring and slow cross-over. However this was a really good issue and definitely one of the highlights of this crossover which I know is not saying much.

    • I don’t think that this crossover is that bad – I think we’re just tired of crossovers in general. But I don’t know if 4 Lantern books (soon to be 5 with Larfleeze on they way which should be fun) can stand on their own.

    • @BCDX97 That’s what it is exactly. Tired of crossovers in general. I read all four lantern books and like them all. Even though there’s about to be five I think they have a chance to stand on their own because they’re all different characters and not about the same person like Batman or Superman. Then again isn’t Threshold a lantern book? I have no idea what that’s about and I think its about to be cancelled.
