    lol! same here! So do they need to sell (x) amount of HC before they can sell in trade? Is that whats going on here?

    No, it’s always been scheduled like this, probably a similar strategy to actual books.  You know, the hardcover comes out x-mas, the paperback the next x-mas.  All in an effort to get those Hardcovers sold. 

    The difference is, for an actual book Hardcovers, while nice, are kinda clunky, paperbacks are smaller and easier to transport etc. 

     The difference between a hardcover Graphic Novel and a Paperback Graphic Novel is negligable, some people simply prefer the hardcover format and some just want the story in collected form a little cheaper (my preference) I don’t get why there’s such a HUGE delay.
