GREEN HORNET YEAR ONE #5

The penultimate issue to the first story arc is here! Delve deeper into the origin of the original Green hornet as Britt Reed returns home in the aftermath of his father’s death and inherits not only the Daily Sentinal and his dad’s fortune, but also his thirst for justice. In the mist of this upheaval in his life, the seeds for his secret crusade as The Green Hornet are sown! Meanwhile in “present day,” The Hornet and Kato continue to sting the criminal operation of mob-boss “Skid” Caruso, who’s still running illegal booze, even AFTER the repeal of Prohibition.

  1. The only bad thing about this series is that Francavilla’s fantastic covers are the the "rare variants" that are marked up to $7 at the stores in my city. This Cassaday cover is good, but Francavilla’s have put Cassaday to shame for the last four issues.

  2. God this book is great. Love the art, fantastic pulpy story, ten times better than the Kevin Smith title.
