I must say this is one of the series I will miss. The interplay between the three characters has been enjoyable, the art has been great, and I’ve felt the storylines have been getting better with each issue.
I hope this isn’t the end of this series. I’ve loved the art and stories. These are kick butt women with interesting issues not just sexy vixen. I’m confused by the ending though. Without spoiling it, is there going to be a fight or is someone going to die? It sounds like the later but I just don’t see it happening.
The reveal referenceing the first issue is pretty complicated, maybe too complicated. I think it could’ve been told a little more simply and with more emotion. Catwoman explains herself a little too rationally I think. Maybe that’s who she is but I would’ve been more engaged by a passionate confession of attachment.
Props to Paul Dini for creating this series and the other writers like Peter Calloway who wrote this issue and the artists like Andres Guinaldo and cover artists like Guillem March. Everything about this series has been excellent. I’m collecting every issue.
