  1. I hope I get the Geof Darrow cover.

  2. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaah cannot wait to read this.
Layman, Ponticelli, Godzilla, and GANGSTERS ON MONSTER ISLAND??!?!?!

    AW YEAH!!! 😀

  3. I expect nothing less than cibopathic kaiju or Godzilla vs. Poyo!

  4. This is going to be so awesome! I’m just imagining laymans funny, laid-back writing style combined w/ ponticellis art, which I only know from unknown soldier. Should be very interesting!

  5. I hope I like this series more than the Eric Powell one.

  6. Bryce31 said everything I wanted to say. That last one was awful.

  7. I’m looking forward to seeing what Layman and Ponticelli can do with a monster book!

  8. Guys, I had a BLAST with this issue. I was pretty much completely blind as to what this book would look like going in, and it really delivered the visual punch I was hoping for.
This looks to have been a strong beginning, you ask me. I can’t wait to see where Layman takes us next. 🙂

  9. I am enjoying the Powell’s run on the main Godzilla book, but this knocked it out of the park.

So happy I am in a time where I am getting to read quality books about a giant radioactive dinosaur/lizard.

I like that both current books in the Godzilla family are completely different expierences.

This should be the next Godzilla movie.

    5/5 HANDS DOWN!

  10. Looks like I’ve found my Godzilla book. Ponticelli draws a hell of a monster.

  11. Doubt it highly those monsters would be hanging out in such close proximity to each other, but I remember it being like that in the movies.  They should all have like their own territories or something.

Sweet Rodan and Ghidorah sightings, wasn’t sure about those other two.

I can still hear it, “MOTH TH RAA AH AH AH!”  Those little mini-twins freaked me out when I saw that movie as a kid.

  12. This book was awesome! My POTW!!!

@Franktiger  – Read this, you won’t be dissapointed!

  13. @AmirCat  was it a link?  It ain’t there.

  14. @MountNJ
You’re right! This totally SHOULD be the next Godzilla movie!!! Maybe a joint production between Legendary and Toho!! Gaaaaah it would be so amazing… 😀
