I have to admit I don’t really remember what happened last issue, but I remember I liked it, so I’m looking forward to this. I just re-read the original Hellfire Club story from Uncanny X-Men, so it’ll be fun to see how Shaw has changed (or not) in the last 30 years.
Have the pulls always been this low since the comic? Or did they drop when Gillen left?
A few minutes with the iFanboy search bar teaches me this about this book’s pull history on the site:

I’m no statistician, and I don’t think the iFanbase is a terribly representative sample, but those seem fairly stable at least.
Didn’t even know Gillen didn’t write this until several hours after I picked it up, as a result it’s been moved to the bottom of my pile.
I like Gillen too, but Asmus is off to a great start! Trust me, it’s good!
I have a hard time believing that Hope would not have known who sebastian shaw is on sight.
^^ This.
No one trained her to be meticulous in researching her potential enemies or anything like that, so
it is completely reasonable that she has no clue when it comes to one of the most powerful mutants on the planet.
