  1. I love Hope, but this book has been taking a downward path the last few months. If this issue doesn’t catch my interest this is getting dropped.

  2. Im expecting big things from this book. I wish Kieron Gillen would have stayed on, but after Second Coming its time to make something of all the build up Hope had. If flying around finding new mutants every month continues i’ll probably drop this.

    • Have they actually been finding new mutants? Outside of the issue I picked up this summer (with the mutant baby on the cover), I haven’t been reading this book (trying it again this week). I would have thought it’d be a bigger deal if they were finding new mutants every month.

    • Yes, the first 8 or issues was hope discovering new mutants. Its fine and dandy and all but i expect MUCH bigger things from Hope than just globetrotting to find new mutants. The build up in second coming makes you believe Hope is meant for great things. Much bigger than mutant hunting.

    • Sorry i forgot to add, if you can find Issue #9 of this series, pick it up. its a stand alone issue. Deals with what happens to a new mutant when hope can’t get to them in time. I wont say more to avoid spoilers but its on my top 5 comics of the year list.
