  1. (SPOILERS)

Man, this is not a good month for heroes versus Incubites.  Now we’ve got two heroes infected in two different teams.  For me, this was the first truly satisfying issue since Gen 13 began it’s World’s End story.  The story just wasn’t grabbing me but when they made it to the mall, I really liked the obvious nod to Dawn of the Dead.  It got a little serious for a while with Roxy almost getting raped but I thought her response was more than appropriate.  In fact, at first I thought she’d killed the guy.  And I LOVE Bobby’s new infrared powers.  That’s what I was talking about when I said leaving him blind would make his character more interesting.  And the bit with Grunge absorbing the different candies was hilarious.  I think the creative team bumped it up a notch with this issue and I’m glad because I was getting worried.  I can’t wait to see what happens to Caitlin (and Apollo over in The Authority) concerning their exposure to the Warhol Virus.

I’m also really liking the Number of the Beast back-up story.  I had no idea that man that was talking with Missile Man last issue was Miles Craven.  So I’m glad they clarified that here.  It added some weight to the situation in the story.  The thing is I feel sorry for Missile Man going up against Craven.  That can’t end well.  But at least we know he doesn’t die from the confrontation.  But I’d guess it was Craven who ruined his life.
