  1. This book is really not what it used to be. While killing Cobra Commander was definitely an interesting idea and extremely ballsy of them to do, I think it has ended up being a huge mistake. They never took enough time to let the old Commander to grow and “become attached to” before offing him. It’s not like this is the CC from the cartoons or the original line of comics and any I basically could have cared less about whatever the decision was made to be at the end. Also, the whole Civil War didn’t really do anything but make it really confusing about the specifics about the G.I.Joe organization as it now seems to be bigger, weaker, and less intelligent than they made it out to be before.

In all, how this book is now just makes me miss the old Marvel/Image/DDP continuity for the first time since the IDW line first started.
