  1. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Kindt does with this title. It was definitely a surprise favorite of the new 52.

  2. Swapping to the trade now

  3. Hmmm can Kindt deliver like Lemire did? Men of War #8 was kinda meh… my pull is overcrowded so this book is on probation.

  4. As I promised here in the comments at iFanboy, I will be giving this writer a chance on this book.

I like the solicit. The premise seems promising.

  5. Yeah, time for me to drop off this too. I wasn’t really enjoying Lemire all the much either, just kept holding out thinking it would get better sometime soon.

  6. Welcome aboard mister Kindt. Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. has become my little candy of the month, hopefully he’s as good as Lemire on this!

At least it’s still Ponticelli who, issue after issue, delivers a unique take on the title and improves his style!

  7. the preview has this shaping up to have OMAC levels of action.

  8. Did anybody else’s issue still have Jeff Lemire as the writer on the cover? They messed up big time

  9. Bummer. I went to the shop today, only to discover that all of their copies of Frankenstein were damaged. I won’t see it until next week.

P.S. I love Matt Kindt’s work, so I have no doubt this will be good.

  10. It was good. I picked this title up for the first time this week.

The inside says Matt Kindt is the writer, but Lemire’s name is on the cover!

  11. Great weird and crazy ideas from this issue and a good first issue for Kindt, I think he will fit nicely on this title despite Lemires absence.

  12. I LOVED IT! SO MUCH FUN! Especially: “Cease your extraneous blathering woman, and tell me what whispers you speak”…”Cease your scurrilous lurking insects!”…Giant Bug Fight (while falling through the sky)!…cloud packs…the mystery of the quick flashback/memory panels…”This whole place is topsy-turvy. Impoverished people in the penthouse suites!?”…the last two pages with Frank falling through the sky (again) and the panels of his clothes changing to the era of those flashbacks…LOVE IT. Can’t wait for the next issue!

  13. Anyone else pick up what may have been a clue to what the #0 issue may be about? (Hint – conversation between Father and ‘Frank).

    • If I’m remembering the conversation you’re talking about, I believe that’s recapping the events of Final Crisis. Which apparently Frankenstein and SHADE both remember…..
