    I am thrilled beyond belief that this is one of the highest pulled Flashpoint mini’s.  That gives me hope that the ongoing will see life beyond 6 or 12 issues.

    I definitely want to read a DCU that has Frankenstein’s Monster running around with a Gatling gun.

    Quick story about why I love DC’s digital plan.

    I love Lemire’s writing. I foolishly didn’t order the first this issue from my LCL. Once I realised it was out, I asked my LCL. They didn’t have any. I went to the next towns comic shop…which had a sign up saying “closed saturday and sunday”.

    I decided to look on my Ipod. There it was, on the DC app, isssue 1, £1.19. I got it, read it, loved it. I am now the converted. The Lemire/Snyder books I’ll be getting in paper form but everything else I’m gonna try diigitally.

    Issue one of this rocked!

    TomO, I am so with you.  Love this weird character.  I feel like you can do anything with the DCU Frankenstein.  Scifi, superhero, horror, it all fits.

    Felt that the first one was just a little bit rushed, but loved it! The best Flashpoint tie-in book hands down. Frankenstein killing Hitler is the greatest thing ever. Has me excited for the ongoing.

    I didn’t like it as much as Frankie cutting up hitler, but I thought this issue was still tons of fun. I can’t help but love Velcoro.

    I really love this series so far. As others stated before on this thread, Lemire and Snyder are the two writers at DC that I can’t get enough of. Plus, of all the Flashpoint mini’s this book seems to be the most well fleshed out group of characters. Must read.

    I didn’t like the other creatures in issue #1 but I loved them this issue.  Go figure.  Great book , five stars.
