  1. Getting this for a couple more issues.

#12 will probably be my last.

  2. Has there been another comic book with a pool party as it’s focal point?

    • I don’t think there’s another book that could pull it off, maybe Young Avengers?.

I’ve enjoyed the other books Fraction has written, but I think this is my absolute favorite; every issue has been a gem, and I anxiously look forward to more.

    • I’m stuck between Hawkeye and FF, but both are great for different reasons. Now I want a Hawkeye issue with a pool party drawn by David Aja.

    • X-Statix has one. It’s not the cover, but a nice portion is in a pool.

      He does it well/ 😀

    • X-Statix was one of my favorite comics to aimlessly buy.

    • I remember the scenes at the beach with Cyke & Psylocke.

And the pool party pin-up from around ’91.

And a few dozen swimsuit issues.

I always thought the pool party thing was a sure sign you had mutants in the neighborhood.

  3. Another Joe Quinones issue 🙂 I really liked his work a couple issues back. Looks like a fun issue.

    • I was a little worried but he did a great job. I always look forward to this book – some issues have been just okay, but most have been very fun, which is something comics need more of these days!

  4. I like Joe Quinones, but I LOVE how Mr. Allred draws women so I’m a little sad I won’t see She-Hulk and Medusa bikini’d up Allred style 🙁

  5. This book is so perfect. Always puts a smile on my face when reading.

    • I absolutely agree! It’s interesting to see just how many are pulling this over the main Fantastic Four book. However, I totally get why that’s the case.

  6. Dropped this after #8. Great series, but I’m’a haveta trade-wait it so as to make cuts to my monthly floppy pick-up. Great comic tho.
