FAIREST #4

What is it with the Snow Queen and her love of/addiction to stories? And how does that little blue bottle imp plan to take advantage of her weakness? Can he really spin a tale so compelling that the evil queen of ice and sorrow will willingly let them all go in peace? Let’s find out as we hear the rest of Sleeping Beauty’s tale, and learn how Ali Baba ended up stranded in this bleak and snowy world.

  1. I’ve been considering dropping this series (so much good stuff out there, hard to prioritize sometimes), but this issue pulled me back in. Very entertaining.

  2. Yeah, I’m not sure how I feel about this series. The art is phenominal, but I’m finding myself not caring about the story. The genie/imp has been entertaining, but the rest of the cast hasn’t left much of an impression (and I know they were all introduced in previous arcs of Fables, but I’d like some character development in this series). Maybe they should have started with a shorter arc to set the tone of this series before jumping into 6-issue-or-longer arcs?
