  3. I was so worried that they weren’t going to collect this all in one volume.  I’m glad they did.  And I also hope it’s in proper reading order!

    Do you dislike Jack of Fables.  I am curious if people that didn’t like this also don’t like JoF.  I haven’t read this yet, but I think I will enjoy it, as I can tolerate Jack and the metafiction going on in that book.

  5. I’m a few issues into the trade and so far I’m not seeing any reason for the hate that seemed to surround ths arc.

  7. I loved this storyline, I thought it was great.  I love both Fables and Jack of Fables, but maybe the Jack-ish tone of the story turned some people off? 

  8. I just finished the trade and I really liked it.  The story had high stakes and included many pieces of humor that made me laugh outloud.  I then tried to explain the humor to my partner, unsuccessfully. 

    "You see, the genres are represented by people and sci-fi and fantasy are brother and sister.  So their lil’ bro is Superhero and…"  His eyes glaze over.  Oh, to have a friend who reads comics would be a dream…
