FABLES #95

“Rose Red” part 2 of 5! As trouble brews outside her bedroom window at the Farm, Rose reluctantly pulls herself out of the depression pit and into the heart of war. It’s the former Adversary vs. the newfound Nightmare and the future looks very very dim for the misplaced denizens of Fabletown.

  1. I’m quite a fan of the covers for the Rose Red five part series.  Two for two for cover of the week for me.

  2. @OwlyFan:  I loved the previous cover artist, but the new ones are pretty great as well.

  3. I love that there’s no "big news" on what’s gonna go down in issue #100.  It’s so anti-comics and it’s pretty refreshing.  I hope they keep it quiet and just tell the story

  4. @misterckent Reading Fables mostly in trade, #94 was really the one that made me pay attention to the covers, but I’ll give you some of the prior ones are pretty great as well

  5. POW for me, albeit in kind of a lackluster week

  6. I was in the boat that thought the book should’ve ended when they defeated Gepetto. I didn’t care for the crossover story at all, and the dark ages stuff was boring too. However, I really like this current Rose Red arc, which I think is classic Fables and classic Willingham storytelling, and this makes me glad that Fables has continued on.

  7. POW for me as well. Even with the various Siege tie-ins this week, this is the one that kept me thinking back on the issue after I was done reading.  Just a great classic story.
