   Not really looking forward to the cross-over, but I’m sure it’ll be a good story, and hey, maybe it’ll get me into some of the other books.

   "PART ONE OF NINE"?!

   Well, sure, the book is beloved and critically acclaimed, but is there a way we could make it more like an issue of X-Men from 1993? I worry that we haven’t been completely wrongheaded enough.

   I want to read Jack of Fables like I want the book’s staples in my eyes. BOOOOOOOOOOOO.

   @Jimski… why? Jack of Fables is a fantastic book. It’s always funny and often more entertaining than the main title.

   @Jimski – I thought this was to be a three issue crossover… but nine is ridiculous.  I’ll probably read, or more likely skim, the JoF and Litterals issues in the shop.

   Buckinham skimped on the fancy borders this issue…took me five pages to be like "waitaminute! something is off here!"  im hoping that just for the crossover to makie the eventual collection less jarring.  and im stoked for this, because it seems very organic, like jack of fables and fables have been getting to this place at a very natural progression.  and jack of fables, over the last year and a half, has been a joy to read each month becuase it deals with a completly different aspect of the fables.

   also, crossovers, when done right (Messiah Complex, New Krypton, Bruce wayne: Murderer?/ Fugitive!) can be awesome, rich stories.
