The first issue of this wasn’t too bad. I’m going to pick up this issue and see where it goes.
Agreed. I’m not sure if the bi-monthly pace helps it or hurts it though?
I’m on the fence about this book but I’m going to give Remender & Broome a couple of more issues before making a final decision. In the long run, I think that the bi-monthly shipping schedule may be a hindrance.

Remender never lets me down so I’m in for a few issues at least.
This sucks that is is bimonthly. I think the first issue was great, and I wanted the next issue as soon as I finished it.
This is definitely on the chopping block, I might drop the hatchet after this issue. We shall see.
I re-read the first issue last night, and it was a lot better than what I thought. I think this second issue is missing the bi-monthly mark…although I can’t remember when the first one came out. It sure seems long ago.
Anyways, I’m pretty excited for this one as Remender has planted the seeds for something cool. If you read his little letter in the back of the book, the overall concept of the book is great and he acknowledges that a lot of the characters are variations on the one’s we love. But I think this team has some big things up it’s sleeve.
As for the schedule, if it’s for the art, I think it’s worth it. It looks great.
I enjoyed this–I re-read book 1 and then read this–it all kind of made sense. I definitely look forward to seeing where he goes now that he killed off his ‘supes’ and brought his ‘batman’ on the scene.
Ugh. I read this issue, and issue #1, and I’m checking out. That’s enough for me– I gave it a shot, it’s dropped. I actually could barely finish this issue, I was so not into it.
I enjoyed it, but I didn’t really love it. I felt like I was reading a Marvel/DC crossover in a gritty Elseworlds setting. I’ll keep reading this when it comes out. I want to see how all this ends.
Ummm, I think Remender is spreading himself a bit thing on this story. The whole thing is moving too fast, and I’m not really caring much about anybody or the effing world they live on. I’m officially dissapointed.
when I first read this book I was a little disappointed but then I went back and started to really enjoy it. I love how it is so different then any other superhero book out there. I am very interested in were he is taking us. I get a little tired of the superhero books from DC and Marvel that follow the same formula all of the time.
Gave this a shot. I even re-read issue 1 before reading 2. Sorry I just can’t get into it.
