  1. I’ve really enjoyed this book so far, and this issue looks to continue that. Earth-2 Grundy is pretty fuckin cool, and I’m stoked to see how things play out.

  2. James Robinson & the Scotts are badazz, That is all

  3. It’s funny… My main problem with this is the dopey writing, but somehow it works in a weird Golden Age kind of way… I think I’m still in!

  4. Hooray for 4 parters!!

While I’ve been enjoying the Gray (or is it the Grey), I’m ready to move into a post-color DCU for a few.

  5. I’m liking this far more then Justice League.

  6. grundy looks like he is from Blackest Night.

  7. Heard a mention of red tornado in this issue. Loving this book.

  8. Its been a good series so far but honestly Atoms costume is horrendous. He looks like a cheap Action Man.

    • I agree, Atom’s costume right now looks pretty weak but I don’t think we’ve seen the final costume. I would guess the costume makes some tweaks or changes about the time he has a change of heart on the heroes and joins the team.

    • Also, here’s hoping that Alan Scott gets a cape. Because ALAN SCOTT NEEDS A DAMN CAPE!

    • Maybe they are afraid a cape will make him look gay. I mean, c’mon, they had him canoodling with a dead guy! The comic book people have to draw a line (pun intended) somewhere…can’t have us gays LOOK gay too…

    • i love Atom’s new look. the camouflage pants and mask are a nice touch. reminds me of Beach Head from GI Joe. frickin’ awesome.

    • also, i could do without the Dracula cape for Alan Scott.

  9. Had corny dialogue in some places but the story is great and the art is solid. I can’t wait for the next issue.

  10. The wait was worth it. This issue was fantastic. Wesley Dodds seems to be an über cool dude, and I liked that new character Amir Khan, he’s kind of a Captain Nemo. As always, the art by Nicola Scott was awesome, and that spread of Alan inside the Grey was super detailed without looking messy.

  11. this is absolutely sensational. great art. great plot. good dialogue. suspenseful cliffhanger. tons of fun.

  12. Yea the dialogue is a little corny, and the Flash costume is horrible, but this book is a delight. They were so smart to make a new DC-verse where the trinity is dead, such a simple idea that really lets these characters shine.

  13. I was rolling my eyes a bit when “the grey” came up. Not more green, red, grey…stuff. But it was all secondary to the awesome characterization. I’m diggin’ this!
