DOMINIQUE LAVEAU: VOODOO CHILD #2

Still reeling from her bloody introduction to the supernatural horrors of New Orleans, Dominique gains an unexpected ally when she’s rescued by the shade of a long-dead prize-fighting jazz drummer. Finally, she begins to make sense of her insane new reality. But between her and the truth, there’s a whole mess of trouble: New Orleans’ lost souls, the unearthly hunters of an enraged demigod, and the descending blade of a killer in the shadows.

Comments

  1. I’m sticking with this for a few more issues. I think it might really go to some interesting places once it’s set up and the readers get used to the jazzy flow of the narrative.

  2. The covers look sooooo good! But it’s a trap!

  3. Are there any black writers at DC other than Selwyn Hinds and Eric Wallace? (both of whom are not exactly highly praised by readers)

  4. I’m not sure why more people didn’t pick up the first issue. This book could go many places if people just gave it a chance.
