    Whew – been a while on this one.  I thought maybe it was canned.  The other series "prequel" was a pretty good fill in, though.

    The reason I haven’t been picking this up is because the interior artwork just didn’t appeal to me.  It’s not bad and it’s completely functional to the story telling; it just never drew me in and at the time #1 came out I didn’t want to commit to a 24 issue ‘maxi’ series, if you will.  That said, in hindsight, I do look forward to picking up these collected editions.  One of my LCSs just put vol. 1 half-off, so I hope to snag it up before it’s gone.

    Yeah, I should have waited for the collected version. Hopefully they’ll release the whole thing in omnibi format and I can just buy that.
