DMZ #66

Zee Hernandez has always been the soul of the city, and the one person who could keep Matty’s ego in check – most of the time. In her final solo issue of the series, we check back in with Zee, last seen in issue #59, and discover what secret she’s been holding on to all this time.

  1. Now that is one good-looking cover.

  2. Very true. I always love the stories with Zee.

  3. That was an utterly perfect prelude to the finale …

  4. Agreed.

  5. @cahubble09  I’ll third that. I loved how Matty kinda looked like a real douche through Zee’s lense. Not often you get a completely different perspective on a character you’ve spent, what, 5 years with. This one rung very true & very poignant.

  6. Didn’t care for this at all. I don’t see a point to this issue. We didn’t really learn anything about where Zee has been for, what 2 years now? It also didn’t reveal anything new about how she felt about Matty, that was made pretty clear the last time they crossed paths. It was more of the same, Zee wandering around, randomly doing good, while self-rightously narrating the entire time. Boring. Excited to see how DMZ finally ends but not all that excited to read it if that makes sense.
