DMZ #49

“Hearts and Minds” 5 of 5. The entire future of the DMZ pivots on this issue, with horrific events unfolding not only for Matty and those close to him, but the city that’s taken him under its wing. It’s an issue so monumental, we had to redact the cover in order to not spoil a single thing…

  1. My guess is that the DMZ becomes a Warzone.

  2. Yeah I think thats a pretty safe bet after the last issue.

  3. I’m so excited for this!!! So glad my shop had almost the first 40 issues in the $0.50 bin other wise I’d have never given it another shot.

  4. I just read the issue, and despite the cover giving away a BIG plot point, that may not be the worst thing that happens in this book.

  5. Angel and the cover are retarded. Mistaking a wedding party for a military squad??? Thats just plain dumb and I really fucking hate it when the cover is the same as the last page. Just fucking dumb.

  6. Wow, where will Matty go from here?  That was one crazy issue.

  7. I’m not sure Wood knows where this is going. The past 15-20 issues have felt kind of like made up as they went.

  8. I am pretty sure that Wood knows exactly where this is going.

  9. I don’t know.  This seems like the first storyline he did not have in his head from the beginning.  I am not saying this from here on are gonna be crap, or even that this is crap.  I just think this is going to be the MAJOR turning point of the series.  Though I don’t know why I need to say that becuase it is pretty obvious by the last page.
