  1. I’ve been buying a lot of random, back issues of Detective Comics lately. For some reason I find enjoyment out of reading old issues of this series even if the storyline is a continuation from a previous issue. I don’t do it for any other series but this.

Am I the only one that enjoys doing that?

  2. You are not alone. I love reading the old stuff. I missed it all when I was a kid, I just couldn’t nail down reading as a kid so I missed out on so much good stuff. Now that I’m a older and enjoy just reading and admiring the artwork, it’s become a lot of fun to buy re-issues like this one.

  3. I’m buying as well.  I need a GOOD Batman w/o the Morrison smell on it.

  4. So true.  Bronze Age Batman beats the Hell out of Morrison Batman. He pretty much turned me against the character by making him unfailable and virtually metahuman.
