    Do we know how the narrator is middle-aged in the flashbacks and elderly in the bumpers?  He was a freaking kid in the 1940s.  So is everybody benefiting whatever gets the Justice Society their vitality?  How do they explain how he and his family have essentially not aged over the last 5-6 issues?
