  1. I’m loving the back ups here.  The main story is ok.  I doubt there will be many surprises in it, but it’s a neat look at how the universe is shaping over time.

  2. I’m loving this. So glad we’re only halfway through. My hope is that when this is collected, I can hand it to someone interested in DC and they won’t run away screaming. Either way, I’ll be proud to own this hardcover when all is said and done. Bring on the crisis.

  3. i was a bit baffled by the new way the Flashes met for the first time.  So they didn’t vibrate between universes, they just bumped into each other in the street? Does that remove all the Earth1 meets Earth2 stories out of canon?

  4. Did they retcon out Grant Morrison’s re-do of Flash of Two Worlds?

  5. @Mike & Mike Sigh… Guys this is the history of the universe Post-Crisis on Infinite Earths, where there is only one Earth and history is shared between them.

Great issue. Didn’t love the backup so much this time. 5/5

  6. Yeah, but Morrison re-did the classic Flash of Two Worlds tale for the post-COIE combined Earth. In his version Keystone wasn’t on another Earth, but rather visbrated out of synch with "our" world by The Fiddler. I believe it was in the old Secret Origins series.

  7. I really liked that Morrison story. Made perfect sense. Oh well, it will always be in my personal continuity.

  8. Don’t you guys know by now that there’s the actual DCU, and then the Morrison DCU? His stuff is almost always ignored by every writer that follows him.

This one was good. Really felt like I got my money’s worth. This was filled to the brim. Some really nice visuals too. So far I’m loving this series. Lookin forward to #6.
