  1. this book is fantastic!!! need more folks reading it.

    • I agree. I was hesistant to pick it up when it came out because I’m not into “kick-ass” type stuff, but the story seemed interesting, and the art is fantastic. Too bad it suffers from an inconsistent release schedule.

    • I only picked this up because the guy at my LCS was really hyping it and he and I have similar tastes, to say the least I was blown away.

  2. @pmallory The reason this issue is late is that the colorist’s kids were hit by a truck while riding their bikes. They were in critical condition but they will make full recoveries. The colorist would obviously have a hard time keeping up with work and they didn’t want a fill-in. They’re working to get things back on track.

    • Oh wow that sucks, I hadn’t heard that. The coloring definitely matters in this book as part of the artistic tone of the book, so I appreciate them sticking to the plan.

  3. I don’t know if that’s how blood travels. It tends to form indistinct blotches pretty quickly, especially on skin or material. Just a nitpick, but I have noticed really unbelievable blood trails in a LOT of Image comics for the past 20 years.

  4. Good point. I suspect that if his body was moved or he stood up after being knocked down blood could theoretically travel that way. But yeah, Image is known for that.
