  5. I liked the Timothy Truman story. I’ve been following him in the Conan comics. Great writer.

  6. read the first story,  it seemed more like it belonged in a sword and sorcery type rag rather than a horror story. 

  7. I buy this for the B/W artwork and for the covers. “Blood of the Sky” was the only one that left me guessing until the end. I’d say it was gory enough to qualify for this issue … especially when compared to the other entries. Seriously, who didn’t figure out “The Field” during dinner with the Weavers? And “Murdicide” had an interesting twist … but “Loathsome Lore”? Yawn …

    These stories just weren’t scary at all.
