When Conan finds a nice out–of–the–way tavern to leave his female companion, Olivia, for a few hours, he imagines she’ll be safe under the watchful eye of the dancing wench he paid to watch her. Unfortunately, Olivia has a big mouth when she’s drinking and news that she’s royalty turns the safe oasis into a watery death trap–seeing as how the tavern is conveniently situated over the top of an underground lake that is home to a prehistoric water dragon! Join legendary Conan scribe Roy Thomas and artists extraordinaire Mike Hawthorne and John Lucas in part 3 of the epic tale Conan: Road of Kings!

  1. That is a gorgeous cover, wow!

  2. I can’t imagine that tiny metal brassierre is doing her any good at all. No support, transmitting all heat and cold directly to her nipples, probably scratches and digs into her whenever she clings helplessly to Conan’s brawny frame… It is too bad technology of the time had yet to invent the shirt.

  3. I love the Conan comics but I always have to cover up the pages of busty women while reading in public. This issue was bustier than most.

  4. This was the best issue of this arc yet, fantastic from start to finish. I can’t wait for next issue.

  5. Real old school, bad ass Conan with women of low moral character. Conan is a walking, talking, growling expression of the barbarian which is really the secret part of the male brain that wishes all problems could be solved by swords and fists instead of talking or careful consideration. That is not the way the modern world actually works, nor would we really want it to, but it is the core appeal of this kind of sword and sorcery fantasy. Good stuff. And there are a lot of boobies.
