  1. Such a Fables addict.  The first mini was a ton of fun…looking forward to this one!!

  2. Agreed!

  3. Thirded.

  4. The identity of Sliverslipper…when I turned that page it was ‘holy shit!’ out loud! Good thing my roommates are also big comics geeks!

  5. How is that Roberson’s scripts suck on ‘Superman’ but this was great. Also, ‘dacha’ (C4C0D7C0) means ‘summer home’. The perks of learning Russian.

  6. I was worried this wouldn’t live up to the first mini, but I should have learned by now that Roberson doesn’t let me down! It looks like this is going to exceed FRom Fabletown With Love and that’s just awesome!

  7. *****SPOILER*****

I loved this issue. Hell, I made it my POTW, but it does have a bit of a flaw (unless it’s explained in the future).  If there were Fable communities in Russia, Europe, and Asia (potentially a lot of them), why was their aid not enlisted in the war against the Adversary? That seems like a pretty gaping plot hole.

    *****End Spoiler*****

  8. Good issue. I also got a kick out of the identity of “Silverslipper”, although maybe “Rubyslipper” would have been more appropriate….but then we would have all guessed it. Looking forward to reading the next issues.

  9. @trailofdead In the book, the slippers were silver.
