  1. Cannot wait to see the art in this!

  2. Urgh, I hate this art. Every face looks the same and the colours look like something you’d find in an uncleaned toilet bowl. I wish more artists would move away from their digital tool-boxes and back to something with some heart and soul.

    • While I’m inclined to agree with you in regards to his xforce work, his art is perfect for a character that is basically living goop and his spidey is lanky and agile looking, just the way I like ’em! But to each their own. I seem to be in the minority of people who dislike Humberto Ramos…

    • Is he doing his own colors? If not then it’s unfair to hold him responsible for that.

    • Clayton Crain is the only listed artist on the book and I can’t see any mention of a colourist or inker. I don’t want to come down on his art too much as he’s obviously skilled. But it really isn’t to my taste. It just looks like your looking at good art on the other side of a noxious smog cloud.

  3. The two page spread in this is epic!

  4. love it. story and art. it’s dark and lovely

  5. Wow I think I need to go back and read other Zeb Wells spiderman story arcs! Between this and avenging spiderman I think he is the only other person besides Bendis that really grasps how to write spidey

  6. I didn’t like the look of The Thing in this book. Maybe because he wasn’t slouching.
