  1. I love me some Britishness!

  2. Having seen the preview pages I’m really looking forward to this.

  3. Fraction lost me after his Stane arc on Iron Man, Cornyn is keeping me on after the initial brilliant skrull tie-in.

@sword – I’m gonna try to stop reading the preview pages of comics I’m already buying. It’s six pages, right? That’s already more then a 4th of the story gone, right there. Gosh, it does whet the appetite though. And Leonard Kirk’s pencils = a-freaking-mazing. I dunno where this guy’s been or why I’ve never seen him, but my gosh, that guy can draw Anything really really well.

  4. @OttoBott-who is Cornyn?

Solid issue.  Jolly good fun and very entertaining.  This book is so consistent that it isn’t even funny.  Kirk and Nicola Scott are moving up on my list of top artist.

P.S. Did anyone else see that weird thing that was going on with Cap. Brit.’s hand on the second page?

  5. Maybe just me, but I’m pretty sure all the scenes with Brian/Meggan are from HER point of view. It’s really Meggan in the scene, but everything else, including Braddock, are magical illusion. I may be wrong, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

  6. @drake – doh. Cornell is what I meant. Cornyn was what I said because I believe I was also writing a letter to John Cornyn, my Senator, or I had already written him or something. Got confused. Oh well.

  7. man the end of this totally made it the pick of the week. also loved the scene with blade and spitfire climbing to the upper floors. perfect transitions between groups of characters, perfectly paced.

  8. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

this book is on my choping block

  9. @saturnmda – Is that the sound of your chainsaw then?

  10. @saturnmda-or a vibrator?

  11. Once again I really enjoyed Leonard Kirk’s art – and whoever was inking the pages with Spitfire and Blade should be the regular inker for this title in my opinion.  I’m not sure what’s boring some readers – this story moved along at a great clip.  Perhaps the characters don’t resonate with some readers??  Not sure, but I know for me this book remains high on my reading list.

  12. Why are people enjoying this title? I’m really finding it dull. This will be my last issue.

  13. @mountainwindcat-people like different things.  If you don’t like it, thats fine.  But I would suggest not leaving messages like "Why are people enjoying this title?"  Makes you sound trollish

  14. @drakedangerz – its a fair question, some people might be missing the point.

@mountainwindcat –  I, for example, love this book because i have always loved the characters of Wisdom and Captain Britain, I have always wanted to see Blade written well outside of movies and the book has a real patriotic spirit about a country i’m not from which hooks me

  15. @RoiVampire-After re-reading, I realized it might sound like I am ragging on the guy.  Didn’t want it to come out that way.  Just meant that he might want to word it differently, because the statement could be taken as an insult by some people.  Post can always be "read" differently by different people.
