  1. these covers have been awful! WTH is Black Widow’s right hand doing???

  2. Looking forward to this. Also wondering where this title will go next.

  3. I’m sad this arc is ending.

  4. This cover isn’t the best, but I’ve really liked the Ed McGuinness covers. But then, I love Ed McGuinness’ art and haven’t gotten any of his recent work because they have been Loeb vehicles I didn’t have much interest in , though I am on the fence on this upcoming Sanction series. I can see that the McGuinness’ style is not representative of the fantastic, though quite different, Samnee interiors, but I love both.

  5. I ask you, how could a human create a better comic than this one?

    Impossible, surely.

  6. I can’t wait to read Francavilla’s run. I loved his Black Panther run and his Cap & Bucky covers look awesome.

  7. How does a book with such wonderful interiors get this kind of cover? Looking forward to this regardless.

  8. Good issue, but I was under the impression that Black Widow got the slinky black outfit back in Amazing Spiderman #87, not in1958. Small nitpick.

  9. Is this book being cancelled when the Winter Soldier book starts in February?

  10. This Samnee/Breitweiser combination could do every single comic book and I’d be okay with that.

This arc needs to be made into a trade, and even though I own all the issues, I’ll buy it in a heartbeat. Preferably hardback.

  11. My pick of the week! When i finished reading it, I was filled was such joy. THAT’S a pick of the week. LOVED it!

  12. Picked up this issue and the previous issues of this arc because I wanted a little extra reading material for a holiday trip…and DAMN is this good! POTW for me. I’ll stick around for the Francavilla art in the next arc (and to give James Asmus another sample – I dug his Generation Hope), but do we know if this book is continuing when Winter Soldier starts?

  13. If you were wondering how Francavilla was going work out on Cap & Bucky, he’s gonna be great! Check out his preview pages from #625:

He’s the perfect guy for the original Human Torch, too; a master of the color Red. I’m pretty sure he’s handling the art duties soup to nuts just like on Black Panther: pencils, inks, and colors.

Chris Samnee, I already miss you on this book, but Francisco, oh wow.

  14. Great interior art, story good…didn’t advance much new information about the WS, though (although it did shed more light on his relationship with the Widow).
