  1. the ending of that last issue was cold-blooded

  2. In for the first dozen, then we’ll see what happens.

  3. Avatar photo filippod (@filippodee) says:

The only book still using the proper Captain America costume.

I’m grateful to Remender & Romita for sticking with it. I am afraid it is going to change in the next arc.

I really can’t stand the Movie/Ultimate Universe inspired costume. When I see the classic one my mind equates CAP=Hero. When I see the new on my mind equates CAP=A##hole.

  4. Great cover! Will be fun to see Sharon again. Hoping once he gets back from Dimension Z we some Falcon.

  5. Is this the last issue of Zola dimension?

  6. I’m ready to be done with Dimension Z. I have not enjoyed this like everybody else seems to. I find the whole plot to be a Kirby ripoff.

    • When did Kirby tell a heartwrenching Captain America tale about the difficulties of raising a child in an impoverished time and place and the costs of a father ultimately failing his son?

Not that I doubt Kirby’s ability tale to have told such a story, I just don’t remember him actually doing it.

    • My heart has not been wrenched by this tale. Kirby hit character designs that are very similar in his DC work with The New Gods. Jet Black definitely got her look from Big Barda and Ian has character traits similar to Orion. To me it was like taking a story about Orion and just putting a different perspective on it.

    • Character designs inspired by Kirby = PLOT ripoff?

      huh…

  7. I felt some genuine heartbreak in this issue. The run through Zola’s world has been so amazing I’m actually in no hurry to leave it just yet. Stellar series!

  8. This whole arc grew on me, i didnt know how i felt for the first few issues but stuck around for my trust in Remender and now i think this has been fantastic

  9. I may be alone in this but this series is kinda boring the shit out of me.

oh, and Cap’s kid looks like Hit-Girl. 😉

  10. I think this arc ends with either 10 or 11 so ill probably start reading this with the new story. I dropped it after issue two and with what the dudes on the podcast have been saying about this title I’ve been regretting it.

    • I feel the exact same way. I’ll have to jump on when the arc ends. Plus Carlos Pacheco is the new artist, which is great to me because I’m not a big fan of Romita Jr.
