  1. The last issue gave me hope that this could be awesome.

  2. We’ve already got ONE Breitweiser on this book… just bring Mitch onboard and we’re gravy!

  3. This is Cap’s last chance to win me back. If I don’t enjoy this issue I am dropping it.

  4. So much for Daniel Acuna, would’ve liked to have seen him stay on this.  Wonder if Sin will be back this issue if not next.
  5. I don’t really get the recent cap hate, I’ve enjoyed every issue

  6. @Casey I’ve been okay with Butch, but putting the OTHER Breitweiser on art would be some massive win.

  7. This better woo me…and woo me good.

  8. @skeets I’m right there with you. I’ve been enjoying Captain America as much as I ever did.

  9. Why is this the most controversial story of the year?

  10. I’ll miss Acuna too.  Guice is a real pro but he underwhelms me.

@AlanRob – how could it be, Mark Millar isn’t writing it? 🙂

    or

@AlanRob – because Cap on trial is an over-used trope?

  11. I know Acuna is polarizing but that last issue was my favorite thing he has ever done.  Would love if he took over art chores.  Anyone that doubts that needs to see that Captain America point one cover by Acuna…that thing kicks ass!

  12. that cover does indeed rock hard.

  13. This was a different Guice in this issue, much better than the last go around. I would have preferred Acuna, but if the art remains at this level, I’ll be happy. This reads more like Brubaker Cap than the last 15 or so issues.

  14. All of a sudden Guice can draw again…YAY! and the like these colors MUCH better than whoever was coloring this before.

  15. This was one of the best issues in quite some time. If this storyline can keep up the momentum I’ll be happy to keep reading for a long time to come.

  16. Wow, Breitweiser’s colors make a real difference on this book! The art’s great, the story is compelling and nuanced… I’m so excited about being excited about Captain America!

  17. @ whoever….

How can this not be the most controversial ish? Its got Captain America in a god damn cell on the cover!

P.S. PLEASE GET RID OF NOMAD! NOBODY CARES!!!!!

  18. @caseyjustice, agreed! Breitweiser is such a good colorist that I’m actually looking out for her work now every week on the stands. So good!

  19. This was great this week. I’m loving the backup Nomad story as well. They’ve been getting better and better!

  20. That back-up feature needs to go already! Those pages could be used in telling the main story. I’m glad for however many pages are being used to tell the Real Bucky’s (Bendis is writing a fake clownish underused Bucky in his steaming Avengers P.O.S.) story though.
