BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: SEASON 9 #5
Buffy’s dreams have become all too real lately as she deals with a magicless world. She’s still fighting creatures of the night, as Willow and Xander grow distant and nightmares plague the Slayer. But something is telling Buffy that there is more to her dreams than meets the eye . . . and that her greatest fears may yet become reality!

The cover, which you can’t see here, is amazing.

Wow, that is a spectacular cover! I assume we’ll see this later on this week in “Best Covers This Week”
Well that’s different for Buffy. Here’s my thing, if they are going to go this route, I want them to whole hog. Don’t back off, make it a part of her life, and something to adjust to. It’s one way to truly push her into another chapter of her life.
I agree. Didn’t see this coming, but I’m hopeful it’s the big storyline for this season.
Is this the ‘Seed’s’ responsibility.
If they can get the art situation figured out, I’d be much more happy with this book. Is Jeanty really the only option? The story is working, thus far…… I just feel like Jeanty’s bobble-headed characterizations are dragging this down, for me. Buffy’s about action AND the dynamics between its principals. And I understand the interjection of ‘cute’- how about pulling Rebekah Issacs over for a bit——- ?
