Less of a mess than previous issues, but it lacks the focus of the old Brit comics (or were they graphic novels?). Still, it feels like it’s getting more on track with this issue, like it’s finally got its feet under it. I look forward to the future issues having a more focused voice.
@dsheamek I have to agree with you. It’s really gotten better. Especially the dialog. The previous issues of this have been very nonsensical-nonsequietery, but there wasn’t any of that in this one. The story was exciting, the action was great (cliff rathburn is totally awesome and I will miss him when he leaves this). This was still definetly sub-kirkman work, but it’s improving quickly. I hear the next artist is going to be the guy who drew the Atom Eve two-shot, which was totally great.
